Theme of this Business Café: "Introducing a medical product to the health market"

Focus will be on the rules & regulations you come across both in The Netherlands as well as when entering the German market with your product. Two experts in this field will give you the ins & outs of this process: Ron de Graaf of Seygraaf will target the regulations in The Netherlands, how to get your product in the Insurance package, what choices to make etc.

This project will give SMEs access to a far wider range of research and development facilities than currently available at the regional level, by including the human health clusters in South East England, the Øresund Region, Stuttgart, Liege, and of course our LifetecZONe area in the Netherlands.

Their presentation will be combined with our General meeting . During the General Meeting we will present our financial report on 2009, and present our estimate for 2010.

LifetecZONe invites you to the first Interregio meeting in 2010:
This meeting on January 20, will focus on regional cooperation in innovative research & developments in (Bio)Medical Technology and Life Sciences. How to cooperate as SME’s with knowledge institutions and how to finance these innovations, and what rules & regulations apply.

The use of ICT in care by a health care consumer, client, or patient contributes to the self care and management of his or her disease. These telemedicine applications support a care process in which:
1. Distance is covered by the use of information technology and telecommunications,
2. There are at least two players, one of which at least one is acting under the responsibility of a registered caregiver (the other is of course the client).

Mr. Peter Ragetlie of the Ictus group, would like to start a TeleMedicine cluster to accelerate telemedicine applications and would like to discuss with you the possibility to join him in this cluster.

During the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of Interface, the organization for business development and knowledge enhancement of the University of Liège, Fred Bollen from LifetecVision received an award on Tuesday, November 23 at Château Colonster in Liège
During this event the 20 years history, the milestones and achievements of Interface were presented to more than 300 people from Wallonia and esp. Liège.
People who made a significant contribution to the success of Interface received an award, an 'oeuf de cristal " bearing the new logo of Interface.

For example: You can think of small stairs for mothers unable to lift their child on the backseat of their bicycle, or an eyedropper for eldery people who cannot administer the eye drops themselves.

This brochure was made possible through a joint effort between The Cardiovascular Center azM and CARIM. Our aim is to work closely together in Maastricht in order to integrate patient care and research in the area of Heart and Vascular Disease. The underlying mission and the central themes, through which this integration will be achieved in the near future, are described and illustrated in this brochure.
