Building from the European Commission's Initiative of the Gate2Growth Venture Contest, the 2nd edition of the European Venture Contest is designed to provide high tech companies a platform to present their business model to key leaders in the industry. Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to interact and network with investors, corporations and the media.

Companies that are selected and awarded to continue to the Final Round will:

• Gain international credibility by passing our rigorous evaluation and selection process
• Meet valuable contacts from the investor and corporate community in a structured setting for maximize productive networking
• Have direct feedback from the European Venture Contest partners, all long-established players in the innovation and international business development industry
• Gain publicity as finalists through the widely diffused media coverage of the event

Promising High Tech companies that are ready to establish themselves on an international level are encouraged to participate.

You are welcome to inform the companies that you are in contact with about this pan-European competition. Please feel free to forward this message and/or post information about the Contest in your newsletter, website or any other communication channel you may choose.

The next selection round to gain entry to the contest is Monday, 28 August 2006. Registration is currently open on the Contest website.
