The project Techstart will provide pré-seed capital and support to people with a good, innovative, idea who are thinking about starting up a business. The project focuses on high tech start-ups in Limburg who are active in the fields of Agro-Food, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Hightech Systems and New Energy.
After a first screening of the idea and the entrepreneur an investment of up to Euro 30.000 is made through a subordinate loan. The money can be used by the future entrepreneur to develop his idea up to the point where he can launch his new business. Costs such as developing a business plan, performing Proof of Concepts, doing market studies can be taken into the budget.
In order to further help him on his way the entrepreneur gets a personal coach and can participate in other Hoogstarters Limburg projects for starters. The project Techstart is almost half way and several interesting High Tech ideas have participated. Techstart will ber providing these pré-seed loans at least untill June 2010.
