Working in Networks project presented on Biomedica

Working In Networks (WIN) is the interregional experience and know-how exchange platform of the Bioregions Bavaria, Biovalley, Meuse Rhine Triangle and the Biosaregion (Upper Austria).  WIN aims to exchange best practice solutions within and between the participating regions.  The Meuse Rhine region’s main knowledge transfer and networking event Biomedica 2007 formed the stage for the fifth meeting within the Interreg IIIC funded project. The WIN partners were given the opportunity to showcase key technologies and products at Biomedica’s exhibition area and get acquainted with the many competences and opportunities of our region. Business Development

New on LSL website: Matchmaking Zone now open!!

The Life Sciences Limburg matchmaking Zone is online! The Matchmaking Zone will display technology profiles on every company, knowledge institute, hospital and other players active in the Life Sciences sector in our province. It will not be restricted to members only as the main goal of the Matchmaking Zone is to inform on a local, national and international level on the Limburg Life Sciences Cluster. In the near future, the database might be linked to or combined with the databases of neighbouring areas but for now we would like to compile an up-to-date database on the Limburg Cluster. The profiles will also be used for international matchmaking, promotion and will give us a better overview on whom to invite for which LIOF and/or LSL events and launches of subsidy or investment programmes. We sincerely hope you will log in to your profile as soon as possible and update your profile so that the most accurate and up to date information will be displayed. Your login code will be send to you shortly. For more information on the Matchmaking Zone please click here

InnovationPerformanceContracts (IPC)

Are you planning to create new products or to innovate your processes? You may now propose two or three projects at once, with a total budget of minimum € 60.000 to maximum € 100.000 and obtain a subsidy of 50%, whereas you can spread your activities and costs over the period July 2007-June 2010.

By the occasion of the 4th BioTech Business Café, Dr. Ingrid Relou will inform you about the possibility for LSL members to obtain financial support under the “Innovatie Prestatie Contract”-framework (IPC), which was launched by SenterNovem as of January 1st, 2007. This framework was designed with the objective to stimulate innovation amongst the so-called SME’s (small and medium size enterprises) with a minimal administrative burden. To achieve that, SenterNovem created a role for existing network organisations like LSL as organiser and representative. For more infomation, or to find out if  your company can participate click here or mail Dr. Nick Sassen at score@wxs.nl
